You can't escape the network effect of PPT and Keynote you have to be able to accept and display content created in those programs which, in most production environments, sets the mode or baseline on which everything runs: you're sometimes forced then, to even build the content you control, in PPT/keynote. From a dad with a camcorder to a professional engineer at the superbowl, or a small meeting room operator to a widescreen specialist, projectionist, LED wall engineer or a electrical video engineer. This subreddit is open to anyone to discuss, share and show their work, as well as ask questions towards anything concerning video production. In order to help you work through your issues, please reach out to us at to r/videoengineering! Inspired by our brother subreddit: audioengineering This is nearly always related to network activity as we have customers using it with nearly real-time response. The places I would use this are in locations where I am a guest presenter and don’t have info on their internet speeds. I‘ve had apps not work, but my disappointment comes from how high my anticipation was for something like this to work coupled with the price of the app. I don’t have screaming internet speed at home, but it’s fast enough for me to expect this to work. Even being a few seconds behind would be acceptable because I can see the next slide, but this is so slow it’s unusable. Unfortunately, the display lag in this app is unacceptable.
I don’t need huge functionality from this app, I just want to see the text currently in and then the text from the next slide upcoming. It’s so great to be able to see all of the other info the main stage isn’t showing. This app saved our church service from becoming a disaster! I know it sounds a little pricy for $9.99 but I’m telling you it’s definitely worth every penny. You can utilize this app as the secondary output for stage display! It’s also great for a computer that only has 1 main output. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who wants to utilize stage display for individual use or for connecting to TVs for stage display like I used it for. I was very happy that I decided to buy this app! It sometimes lags a tiny bit when switching a lot of slides fast but it keeps up very well! (We have fast internet from Comcast too, so maybe that helps). Well I was very wrong! This thing is awesome! The output display going to our TVs looks identical to the stage display from our iMac! And even if I wanted to custom stage display from our iMac in the settings, it’s a live representation on the iPhone using this app. I thought it would be a very basic app that syncs with ProPresenter.
I decided to buy this app and give it a shot. I bought this app on the fly because there was an issue with the iMac we use and we weren’t able to utilize stage display from our iMac.
